I was born in Murray, Utah to Thorpe and Francisca Petersen. I have a younger brother and sister. We moved to El Paso when I was 12 years old where I graduated from Parkland High School in 1989. I then married in 1991 to a wonderful man named Kadett Derry and we have lived in Panama, Panama, San Antonio, Texas, Fayetteville, North Carolina, San Antonio, Texas once again, and currently live in Hutto, Texas. We have three beautiful children; two boys and a girl
